Ulissa by Cicera’s Icewater / Lavaletto / Acord II, stamm 318a2. This mare is from a tremendous breeding line of mares with two consecutive grandmothers being the best mares at their respective approvals in Holstein. There are also some 40 approved stallions from this motherline as well as many international competitors. Margie Goldstein Engle’s Calippo comes from this stamm as well. Ulissa had an outstanding colt by Campesino this year and is now in foal to Cassini II. She will enter the mare book come October.
